Lindsay Zir (Stylist|Costume Designer)
A Boston, Massachusetts native, Lindsay Zir is a Los Angeles based Fashion Stylist and Costume Designer who works with everyone from A-list celebrities, Directors, and Producers to professionals. Always an artist, Lindsay grew up dancing and acting and, eventually, graduated from New York University with a major in theater.
In 2000, Zir relocated to Los Angeles where she worked as an actress for ten years. Her passion for fashion and costumes went from a hobby to a full-time career in 2010 when she closed the acting chapter in her life and began styling actor Cory Monteith of “Glee” fame. A mere three months after their first red carpet event together, Monteith was awarded 'Future Style Icon: Male' at the Hollywood Style Awards.
Some editorial styling credits include In Style, Men's Health, Men's Fitness, Miami Magazine, Playboy, Daman, August Man, Emmy, and Doggie Aficionado to name a few. In addition to more commercial and educational styling credits (Samsung, Neutrogena, The Sports Authority, and Clairol), Lindsay's fresh and innovative sense of style can be seen walking red carpets all over Hollywood. Some event stylings include Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Grammys, Emmys, SAG Awards, Teen Choice, People's Choice, The Tonight Show, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, Conan, Good Day New York, Live with Regis and Kelly, and many many more.
In the past five years, Zir has wrapped eight feature films as Costume Designer, numerous commercials and music videos all while continuing to style her client base.
Zir currently resides in Los Angeles, but travels wherever the job takes her.
